Eric Montague / Co-Founder, President
Before founding Sleek Machine, Eric was at Mullen for over a decade, most recently as SVP/Group Account Director. His career spans over 20-years across many disciplines, from social media, to advertising, to public relations, to broadcast journalism.
Eric’s efforts have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in earned media – including landing his clients multiple appearances on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and other national TV programs and print media. He’s also handled product launches worldwide for clients such as Stanley Black & Decker, Timberland, OSRAM Sylvania, and Sealy Mattress.
Along the way, his campaigns have picked up a shelf full of accolades including One Show/Interactive, One Show/Branded Entertainment, Andys, Webby, Hermes, a PRSA Bronze Anvil, Bulldog, and Digiday MOBI Awards. Together with Tim, Eric ran Century 21 Real Estate’s social business which caught the attention of consumers and media worldwide with efforts such as posting Walter White’s house on Craigslist.
Eric crafted his storytelling as a reporter and anchor at a CBS News affiliate in Wisconsin where he won both Emmy and Associated Press awards.
Tim Cawley / Co-Founder, Chief Creative Officer
Tim is a 20-year industry veteran with experience at agencies such as Mullen, Hill Holliday, Y&R and Carmichael Lynch. Beyond the many brands at Sleek Machine, Tim’s portfolio also includes campaigns for such well-known brands as Major League Baseball, JetBlue, Dunkin’ Donuts, Miller Lite, Liberty Mutual and Toys R’ Us. His work has been recognized dozens of times, in every major award show, with recent medals at One Show (which he judged in 2013 and 2015), Cannes, Clio, Webbys, Andys, and Best of Show at the New England Hatch Awards. He’s been profiled in AdWeek, AdAge, Creative Review UK and FastCompany. Archive Magazine ranks him as one of the top ten U.S. writers of all time.
